Dead End Light Out's sound is a blend of many influences as varied and diverse as The Eagles of Death Metal and Bob Dylan. DELO plays high energy dance rock, with wailing guitar, thumping bass, and punishing drums. Close attention to melody and powerful lyrical content is what makes this band stand out from other modern rock groups.
The band line up, as it stands today, first came into existence in early June 2005. Although the group is only a little more than a year old, it's members have been playing together for the last couple of years in Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles. The majority of the band currently live in San Francisco, with Marc commuting from Santa Cruz.
